“Sisterhood to me is a bond that involves loving and accepting your sister for who and where they are, while consistently inspiring them to their highest potential. Joining BSLS, I was capable of getting through one of my roughest years at MSU because it surrounded me with that group of supportive women I now call my sisters and share such a bond. I joined BSLS back in 2019 and during my time as a BSLS member, I served on E-Board as the Community Service Chair (2019-2020) holding responsibilities that included planning and executing community service projects such as hosting a vision board party at a local young, girls residential facility and a self-care event called “Lessons for My Girls” at The Boys and Girls Club. Ive met so many inspiring women with different backgrounds and experiences and I am forever grateful to have had the opportunity. I can’t wait to see the BSLS Chapters thrive under current and future leadership. I am thankful for being apart of such an amazing organization for an additional year”
