Pillar Properties was one of the first companies to pilot the Move For Hunger Multi-Family program back in 2016 and has remained a loyal partner of this organization for more than four years. Move For Hunger not only brought a missed opportunity to light, but provided a seamless solution that makes a difference.

Through this program, when a resident at one of our apartment residences moves out, they don’t have to hassle with moving the food in their kitchen. Move For Hunger provides bags to collect the items and organizes pickups to donate the nonperishable food to local food banks. This process not only eliminates possible food waste, it gets the food to the people in our community who need it most.

As a family owned company, we are committed to enriching the neighborhoods we are a part of and believe giving back is important to our residents as well. In addition to the move out program, Move For Hunger makes it easy to host food drives. They provide all the tools needed and make it extra fun with creative themes to solicit the food items most in need. They are quick to recognize the efforts of our team, inspiring and motivating team members to get behind and share the mission.

The team at Move For Hunger is responsive, passionate and kind. Our entire team is comfortable reaching out with any questions or looking for new ideas.
