When the Shanti support group in which I had been a member for over a decade was almost closed down due to the demise of Shanti LA, Life Group LA took over running the Shanti LA support groups. Some years later, I became a volunteer peer support group facilitator with that group. Life Group provides services to PLWHA, and does so generously, with an amazing group of volunteers.
