HHSHR is a community of amazing volunteers dedicated to the siberian husky (husky mix) breed. The dedication and teamwork is a sight to behold - from pulling together for transportation needs, vetting and fostering, volunteer work with fundraisers, and answering the call of help. saving lives, one husky at a time!

HHSHR is a vital organization for the purpose of saving and medical and or behavioral rehabbing unwanted or abused siberian huskies. They also incorporate breed education in their activities to make sure that prospective adopters are aware of what it takes to be a responsible owner to siberian huskies. This breed is not for everyone, and it is of critical importance that people are aware of that BEFORE adoption occurs.

HHSHR brings awareness and raises critical funds by hosting many community wide fundraisers throughout the year. Recent fundraiser include: online art & jewelry auctions, painting with a twist activities, fall mums sales & virtual wine tastings, to name only a few.

Their volunteers are a group of caring and dedicated people and are the backbone of the rescue.

I have personally adopted 3 huskies from HHSHR over the years and will be a repeat, lifelong adopter thru HHSHR for as long as possible.
