I adopted my second SGER pup last month and he is the most perfect addition to my little pack. Heather was with me every step of the way ensuring that my new addition would be the perfect fit for me and my other rescue pup. Heather is simply the best, I believe in her and her mission and can’t give her enough praise and credit for all she does. there is no animal too damaged for her to help, it’s amazing watching them transform under her care.

When I began my search to adopt a dog my original intent was to adopt from a local shelter. A close friend of mine was also looking to adopt and introduced me to SGER, as I did more research I completely fell in love with Heather and her mission - that there was no animal too sick or too broken to deserve a chance at life and finding a forever home. Knowing this I knew I wanted nothing more than to support Heather and her rescue, I’m now going on two months with my new puppy and every time I look at her I know I helped make even the tiniest bit of a difference. Heather does incredible work and deserves all the praise in the world for working so tirelessly to help all these animals.
