I first learned of this charity in 2012 and met one of the founders. Being a veteran and seeing the good that comes from the camaraderie built sitting around with some down time and how strong those bonds become, I had to help. I’ve been volunteering ever since and the payoff comes from meeting the recipients at events and hearing their stories.
