Operation Cigars For Warriors

This organization works hard to make the lives of our deployed soldiers have some quality off time, with cigars, reading materials, coffee, etc. All the photos we receive just show how much it means to them to get some quality relaxing time. Volunteer it will be well worth your time.

During my recent deployment. I help host a weekly cigar night. The bundle of cigars received from Operation Cigars for Warriors were a tremendous help. It wasn't always easy to get quality cigars. We would have anywhere from 6 to 30 people attend cigar nights. As I traveled around the area I would run into service members who had received a box from Operation Cigars for Warriors and the response was always the same, a huge smile and willingness to share their cigars. Operation Cigars for Warriors helps bring a little bit of home to those deployed.

I have been involved with this non profit for many years and i see the amazing work they do on a regular basis. Their service and dedication to helping others selflessly and without any fanfare make s them my go-to charity to support our troops

We have seen the results of OCW sending cigars and other items to the troops in the field. The troops ask for cigars as their #1 want/desire from home and OCW supplies those requests. As a 12 year member of Cigars for Warriors group and volunteer I have seen the rigorous requirements for a non-profit and watched as the volunteers upheld and exceeded the requirements for a non-profit. I couldn't be more proud to be a member and volunteer and observe the thanks we get from the men and women in harms way.

CFW does wonderful work at cigar events when people donate cigars and money to their charity. I won a portrait from them on their Facebook page. I've giving cigars for donations. I've given them swag for the raffles. The people that work for them are all great.

Amazing organization! They shipped cigars to my unit when we were in Afghanistan in 2012 and it really gave us a chance to relax and think about something other than our daily missions.

Operation Cigars for Warriors is a fantastic nonprofit organization that ships cigars to deployed servicemembers. Their mission helps provide much a needed morale boost to those serving our country far from the comforts of home.

I recently had the pleasure of meeting Storm and some of his team at the Drew Estate Savage Feast in Dallas. They are doing remarkable work that boosts the morale of deployed troops and deserve any help they can get. I volunteered with CFW about 6 years ago. I had no idea how big a deal this organization is. I thought it was a few guys and gals shipping a few care packages. Boy was I wrong! I am now serving on the Board of Directors. Folks this is a big deal! We have shipped over 1.3 million cigars over the last 10 years! What an amazing group of people.

CFW is an amazing 501(c)3 that I used to volunteer with. CFW is run completely by volunteers and brings a little joy and downtime relaxation to our soldiers that are deployed.

Outstanding organization that sends a small token of home to those who need it most. I have supported with both money and cigars, and will.continue to do so in the future.

Cigars for Warriors is all volunteer. All the money raised goes toward cost of shipping or supplies. The deployed troops are the number one priority and the testimonials from them truly show how much they enjoy the care packages.

GREAT charity that really helps morale of the troops serving in combat zones and long term "floats" in the Navy. It's an "all volunteer" charity. Nobody gets a salary. Care packages are by request only and they provide a great opportunity for the service people to wind down, relax, and enjoy a little bit of home.

I’ve been a volunteer Event Coordinator for almost 4 years now and it has been a very rewarding experience. The idea that I get to help send a small feeling of home to our soldiers serving and risking their lives overseas is amazing!

As a Veteran of Desert Storm, I know about the need for down time and trying to de-stress. There is nothing more relaxing than sitting around with some of your War buddies, talking, drinking what ever beverage is available, and smoking a good cigar. Cigars for Warriors has sent thousands of Cigars to soldiers in some very stressful environments. I have had so much fun, and met so many people when I volunteered with this group. Anything for the troops!

I have been involved with CFW for over three years as a volunteer and a board member. Nearly every day, I am witness to the amazing positive impact the charity has on the lives of service members who are in harm's way. There are lots of ways to "support the troops", but one of the best ways is to give them something tangible that promotes camaraderie and morale in a very difficult situation. I'm extremely proud to be a part of this amazing organization.

This non-profit has been a part of my life for many years now. As a teenage girl and into the young years of my 20's CFW has remained an inspiration to live my life supporting the things I believe in. CFW stands with those who sacrifice so much, and not only that, but they also treat all their volunteers as family. CFW will be a part of my life, always.
They offer educational fundraisers and a way to feel a sense of community. They have stepped up in times of COVID and been hosting online, so the sense of community isn't lost.

If you can support it, you are doing yourself and the many personnel who do so much for you, a favor.

I like to Donate Cigars and Accessories to CFW because the Men and Women serving our Great Nation need that little feeling of Home and normalcy while they are away from their loved ones. Awesome charity that loves the soldiers that fight for our country

This non-profit group supplies cigars and personal items to our troops overseas. The troops enjoy a cigar during their breaks and appreciate the personal items they don't get enough of.

The “Cigars For Warriors” story is classic. I have been involved with them for several years. I wish I had more time to invest. The direct members and volunteers have a passion and love for it. Many have served and or have loved ones who have served. They do realize the dedication of the members of the American Armed Services. When these men and women deploy they leave back so much. So when they get that care package it’s a nice way to say “THANKS” we didn’t forget you. The organization has gotten so much support from all around. From the local shops to the online communities. The timeless hours of this groups members and there goal of doing it no matter what obstacles make it a great charity.

I've been a part of this organization for several years now. I never stick with anything very long, so me being able to stay with this tells you something about the organization. I've never seen such dedication to the troops and so much passion for it. This non-profit goes above and beyond to make sure our troops are taken care of. I'm so proud to be a part of it. Inspirational stories from the troops telling us how that cigar time they had was something they looked forward to all week and it brings a brief respite from the horrors they are facing. I've never been more proud to be a part of something that helps so many people.

Have been donating cigars to our deployed service men and women around the world using Operation cigar for warriors for years. I have nothing but love and admiration for any organization that is truly non profit and is 100% owned and operated by volunteers. They help bring a piece of home to those thst put there lives on the line day in and day out to ensure our freedoms. I will continue to donate and help this organization in anyway possible.

CFW does so much for the morale of our brave men and women overseas. They do not get the recognition that is very well deserved. It is an honor to help them in this venture, and I hope they continue to help these heroes for years to come.

This organization is a great way to support our troops that are in harms way and protecting our freedoms.

I have personally received gifts and support from people I never met during my military career. CFW does so much for us and those serving.
When you receive a package from those that support your missions and courage it means something that cant be explained with just words. It goes thru your soul and entire being! My son is active duty 21 years now and I'm very proud of him.

Operation Cigars for Warriors is such an amazing charity for our troops! When I was deployed many years ago I either received cigars through family care packages or bought the very few that were sold at my location. I would have loved receiving a package from a charity like CFW back then based on donations from those supporting our troops, but I’m so grateful they exist now. I make it a point to donate cigars when I’m visiting at participating shops because I know how much it means to my brothers and sisters in arms.

On deployment’s to Kuwait and Afghanistan CFW has sent me and many others Cigars. Cigars were a way to unplug from the demand of a deployment, I will forever be greatly for that hour or so Me and my fellow Airmen got to relax and feel we were back at home.

CFW is an amazing organization. Together the volunteers go out and collect cigars, accessories and money to be able to send just a little bit of luxury over seas to active duty men & women. Cigars are something they can’t get in the Mess or Exchange, so CFW creates care packages for the unit to enjoy.

They do a great job taking an American pastime and sending it to our troops overseas.

One of the best care packages I received while deployed! Thank you for helping to bring some cheer to my unit! It inspired me to get involved in the organization as an Event Coordinator in my area!

I have been with the organization for 7 years. I love the mission and the people involved!

This is an amazing charity that supplies deployed troops with cigars to relax an smoke after missions are complete. It might not seem like much, but it makes a huge difference when you're in the middle of a war zone.

As one of the Founders and CEO of Op: Cigars for Warriors, I know what I say may seem biased.

This charity started out on day one, to be a small hobby like mission for the original founders. We wanted to do something good, and right for our deployed men and women of the US armed forces.

By the end of the first week, we quickly came to realize that this was going to be a full out effort and for some us, full time volunteer work. 8 years later, and over 1.1 million premium cigars, tons of boutique coffee, cutters, lighters, magazine and other neat swag, is something we all are very proud of. We have had thousands of volunteers and 0 employees, since 2012, and it has been an amazing life changing experience working the volunteers, and getting to meet the recipients.

I could tell you some amazing stories of what our Warrior Package’s have meant to some of our recipients but frankly, they are so fantastic, it would sound like I’m making things up, or exaggerating. Instead, I strongly suggest you go to Cigars For Warriors on Facebook, (the group is best) to see the post(s) from our troops,. some from family members of our recipients and some amazing photos!

One of the biggest thing I’m personally most proud of, is our checks and balances, and the fact we are continuously looking for ways to improve an already amazing checks and balances system. A great example is, that all Service members who requests the Warrior Packages from CFW, get verified that they are US servicemembers and that they fall under one of our 2 priorities. Many do not realize, just because someone has a APO address, doesnt mean they are US Troops, there are many allies and contractors that have APO addresses. We have the means to verify each address.

We have no salaries, and we do not go on exotic trips for “Team Building”, not do we buy our Board fancy meals and of course there are no bonuses given out. Most volunteers have spent money out of their own pocket, and that is on top of their valuable time they donate. We are currently, since day 1, a 100% volunteer 501(c)3 charity.

I could write for hours about Op: CFW, but at the end of the day, for me, what matters are the volunteers and our Deployed Troops!
