We adopted Suki (now Yayboo) last month, hoping to ease the broken heart of newly widowed Coach Steve. I'm so thrilled to report that the two adore each other -- here they are in the bath together. Thank you to Elizabeth Young, Jill McMurchy, and this community for recognizing and affirming the validity and sensitivity of even the most misunderstood among us.

We recently adopted a young female from Palomacy and found the guidance and level of care to be superb at every step of the way. I learned so much from talking with director Elizabeth Young and so appreciated her style -- completely down to earth and concerned simply with the long-term well-being of these birds. This is a gem of an organization and a lovely example of how animal welfare organizations should be run. I will continue to be a Palomacy donor and would encourage animal lovers of all stripes to check out their website.
