This organization has been a great partner for the past few years providing diapers for our church to supplement our food distributions. The families that we serve are struggling to meet the normal challenges of our lives and by adding Covid limitations and inflation the need continues to grow. This helps the underserved each month to cope and help align their monetary resources to other needed items. Diapers as we all are aware are an expensive item and this does help. Thank you for all that you do and our next Diaper drive is in October!

Diapers are a high demand and high cost necessity for many in the area. The cost of diapers is competing for available resources each week for many families in the community. This is even before COVID-19 challenges to their thin resources. We feel very blessed to partner with the NOVA Diaper Bank over the past few years to help reduce this expense. Through our Grace Ministries program at SUMC, we typically distribute almost 25,000 diapers a year. We are just one of the places that they help supply diapers to our community. We see the need at each distribution, see their appreciation when we have the diapers that they need and the disappointment when we don’t. Please consider giving to the local drives and supporting this organization and their support of our community.
