My daughters and I have been involved with OHAAT for many years which has provided us a great opportunity to be together and help others. Going out on deliveries is always powerful - the gratitude from the families is amazing. My daughters are in college now, but any opportunity they have to join a delivery on a holiday break is always important to them. Right now, during COVID, I have missed the chance to be with my fellow volunteers but I am so thankful I can do small things to help, like washing stuffed animals and blankets, collecting donations and even just spreading the word to family and friends on how to donate. Working with OHAAT has given me opportunities to meet so many great people - both other volunteers and the families we serve. I am so looking forward to getting back in the truck and doing a Saturday run with a crew from UDLC and a Wawa coffee - no better way to feel like your weekend was worthwhile! Keep up the good work, OHAAT!
