Review for Heroes Warehouse, Alta Loma, CA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Thankful for Heroes Warehouse and for the opportunity it provides to serve our Veterans communities and to also be a recipient of their generosity. Caring, pro-active, mindful, team of volunteers. A place where Veterans and their needs do matter. Heroes Warehouse goes above and beyond in their ongoing support of our Veterans, their families, and work tirelessly to provide much needed home essentials, furniture and furnishings as they transition into permanent housing. - Maria F

Great people! Amazing hearts! An organization that actually cares about veterans.- improving lives and helping families. The hours that I spend volunteering for Heroes Warehouse are the best part of my week. I always look forward to coming in and working with such friendly and helpful volunteers. I especially cherish seeing the Veterans happy faces as they receive their much needed items: furniture, furnishings, household essentials and much more. I feel that discovering Heroes Warehouse has been one of the greatest blessings in my life. Maria F

Great organization dedicated to providing furniture, home essentials such as dining, bathroom, kitchen wares, and anything in between for Veterans and their families transitioning from homelessness to permanent housing, free of charge. The pro-active, very friendly and welcoming staff are all volunteers, headed by the extremely committed leadership of Lillian Baltes. The center remained open for service, even at the height of the pandemic. The work that they do is a blessing to our veteran community. I feel privileged to be connected to all the caring people who make this work . I am not a veteran, but I am glad to be a very small part of this organization and thankful for the goods Heroes Warehouse has provided my housemates who have served in the Armed Forces. - Maria F

Review for Volunteers for Veterans Foundation, Fontana, CA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

This remarkable organization is an asset to the community and to military personnel at large. The center provides Veterans, Active Military and their families, emergency financial assistance with rent, utilities, food and gas. The pantry is abundantly stocked with fresh meat, dairy, eggs, vegetables and a wide variety of canned goods. Clothing, toys, shoes to name a few are also available. Betty Volk has done a great job creating awareness to both veterans/active military needing help and those wanting to help them. Staffed by volunteers, the services and networking they provide, is a source of pride in the community. I am truly thankful for the opportunity to serve alongside them and grateful for the goods/services/assistance my Veteran housemates have received. God bless. - Maria F
