I became aware of Hero's Warehouse some years ago and started volunteering there when I noticed the great work they were doing to help veterans. As a veteran myself I realized the great need to help those who are discharged back into the public and the adjustment.

Hero's warehouse has met the needs of many service men and women to help them adjust to public life by meeting their home and living needs, they have supplied the needs of hundreds/thousands of grateful vets and continue to this day.

A great team and organization.

Heroes Warehouse has been such an asset to our Veterans in helping them to settle in their new places. Without Heroes Warehouse our Veterans would not have the access to the essentials they will need. Thank you so much for all you do. It is an honor to serve on your board of directors

Great organization dedicated to providing furniture, home essentials such as dining, bathroom, kitchen wares, and anything in between for Veterans and their families transitioning from homelessness to permanent housing, free of charge. The pro-active, very friendly and welcoming staff are all volunteers, headed by the extremely committed leadership of Lillian Baltes. The center remained open for service, even at the height of the pandemic. The work that they do is a blessing to our veteran community. I feel privileged to be connected to all the caring people who make this work . I am not a veteran, but I am glad to be a very small part of this organization and thankful for the goods Heroes Warehouse has provided my housemates who have served in the Armed Forces. - Maria F

As Executive Director of Heroes Warehouse, I feel fortunate to continue the work of my sister, Mary Kelly-Mohr. It was Mary's love of veterans, that launched Heroes Warehouse more than 8 years ago. We have been able to assist over 5,600 veteran families with furniture and household items at no cost to them. All of this would not be possible without our volunteers (we have no paid staff). We thank our volunteers, donors and most importantly our veterans for their service to our Country.

The Heroes Warehouse has the upmost dedicated board members and volunteers. They are out there delivering and picking up furniture for our Veterans. The fundraisers that they put on are very professional and always very successful.

I met Mary and the Hero's Warehouse volunteers when my company partnered with them to help complete their new home baskets. Through this I was able to volunteer with several of their fundraising events. As a veteran myself, it allowed me to be able to give back. I enjoyed the time so much I ended up finally going to my local American Legion and becoming a big supporter of their programs as well. A big shout out to the team at Hero's Warehouse. Mary may be gone in body, but her spirit lives through Hero's Warehouse and the wonderful things they do for our Veteran community.

I have known Heroes Warehouse since inception and to see how much is has grown and the focus on our local Veterans is amazing. The volunteers give so much of their time and dedication all because of the love of our Veterans! I have had the honor of recruiting my company to donate to Heroes Warehouse on many occasions throughout the years as their "Give Back" organization and have been able to supply many "Welcome Home" baskets, supplies and other household goods. They are extremely organized on how they operate and professional. This is such a great organization, located right here in the Inland Empire and I would suggest any and all companies to help support our local Veterans and Heroes Warehouse

It is our honor to have met Mary Kelly Mohr, founder of Heroes Warehouse. Such a generous, kind soul and whose love for our veteran’s welfare is always at the forefront of her life’s purpose. Heroes Warehouse works to provide, free of cost, household furnishings to our veterans and as a result gives a sense of dignity and gratitude to these men and women who served to protect our country. My husband, Andy (a US Navy Capt. (Retired) and daughter, Carolyn (US Navy Lieutenant) played to support the Heroes Warehouse 3rd Annual Military Heroes Charity Golf Tournament in 2019. We thank the Heroes Warehouse for allowing us the opportunity to share in their goal and mission.

Hereos Warehouse has been such a blessing for our Veterans in their time of need. The staff is always prompt, courteous, and kind. Lighthouse Social Service Centers has been working with Hereos for many years and our Veterans cannot speak enough on how grateful they are for the assistance they receive.

One of the key items I look at when vetting a non-profit is how much they use for overhead and salaries.

Some non-profits promote their organization for their private pocketbooks as indicated in their salaries. Heroes Warehouse is not one of those non-profit organizations; instead, they operate with 100% volunteers who serve our veterans and active military service people.

They are a hard working group who come together weekly working to help those in need. With the delivery of furnishings and ancillary items, they help change a house into a home.

I highly recommend supporting this organization that helps those who have sacrificed so much for us.

Heroes Warehouse is a true non-profit that benefits local veterans who have served our country. There are no paid staff; ALL are volunteers . These volunteers work tirelessly and give generously of their time and resources to help transform a veteran's house, to a home. Through the generosity of the community and local businesses, they are able to provide both new and used furnishings and other necessary household items. In addition, they (all volunteers) put on an annual golf tournament with all proceeds benefiting our vets.

I am very careful to research how my donations to non-profits are used. In my research, I learned that Heroes Warehouse is a top-notch, non-profit that takes each donation and gives it back to help make a home for those who have served our country (i.e. veterans).

If you want your donations to have more bang for your buck, then please consider donating to Heroes Warehouse. Your donations will be wisely spent towards benefiting our veterans and not spent on lining the pockets of administrators.

This is an organization that meets housing needs of our Veterans. These people work tirelessly to gather and distribute furniture and basic essentials that are needed to set up a home. This is a small but mighty group and I'm proud to network with them.
