I received a call to action and it brightened my day to be able to give a sibling of a sick child their special cake. Having a child who is chronically ill has taught me that more often than not, their sibling(s) deserves a little limelight from time to time. Icing Smiles not only does that for the ill child but offers a cake for a sibling. I wish this organization was around when my child was ill. It is an invaluable organization that helps ease the monotony that goes along with health care issues in any form. I am proud to be called an Icing Angel and look forward to helping out when and where I can. As a parent, it is amazing to have people to turn to when you are exhausted, weary and need to come up with birthday cake ideas. A beautiful, no-cost to the parent cake, is a blessing. Icing Smiles volunteers are truly angels!
