The food education curriculum created and shared by Foodprints, one of the programs run by FreshFarm, is best in class. The leaders and teachers in that program have been open and generous with this resource, and I plan to use it throughout my future career.

FreshFarm runs many of the most large-scale, impactful and innovative programs addressing food education, food access and support of local, sustainable agriculture in the Washington, DC region. Their farmers markets are professional and extensive, and a source of learning and connection for thousands of DMV residents. Their in-school education program FoodPrints is unparalleled in its reach, caliber and diversity of instructors. Their Pop Up Food Hub is possibly the most creative and dynamic approach to growing the market for local farmers and connecting small institutions with local, fresh food that I've seen in my career. I have faith that this organization will continue to evolve in a positive way under Hugo's leadership.
