My Nonprofit Reviews

I joined IMPACT Youth Club in the middle of my freshman year in high school and it has had a significant impact on my life as this nonprofit has taught me numerous lessons and skills. One of the things I love most about IMPACT is that it is student-run. This gives students the opportunity to take on responsibilities, commitments, and leadership roles that are never taught in school. This organization has allowed me to grow so much as a person and a leader, and it has helped prepare me for the future. IMPACT also has a very supportive environment that encourages learning and a growth mindset, which is very important for people of all ages to embrace. This environment has helped foster students to learn from their mistakes and try to become better, which is an essential skill for people to improve throughout life. Everyone in this organization is always willing to collborate and share ideas with each other as well as help our community. In my time in IMPACT, I have grown so much. In the beginning, I was very shy and not confident enough to voice my own opinions or take any leadership positions. But, IMPACT's board of directors, volunteers, and Ms. Wendy have all helped foster a sense of community that enabled me to grow and become a better leader. IMPACT is truly a place for all people that want to grow and help out the community.
