My Nonprofit Reviews

I joined IMPACT Youth Club (IYC) nearly half a year ago and being in the group has taught and encouraged me so much. Ever since I've joined, I've learned about what an ambitious youth group looks like, especially relating to helping and giving back to the community. It has taught me to be more disciplined and how to be a true team player, among other things. Most importantly though, IYC has taught important business skills that one cannot get through learning in a classroom. It's student-run, allowing students opportunities to learn how to lead and work as a team. IYC provides important "real world" skills to help students adapt faster in their environment and become true leaders wherever they may go. Whether it be through learning how to develop and manage a project to learning how to organize an event and have it be successful, IYC truly does nurture a group of ambitious students who are prepared to face the world as they grow. Alongside that, the students of IYC are always giving back to the community. Before joining IYC, I never would have thought that I could help and be passionate about doing anything for the community. This organization truly has impacted me in a positive way and I am grateful I have the opportunity to be a part of it.
