The loss of my husband was and continues to be incredibly difficult. At the time of his death, I didn’t know which way to turn and struggled to deal with the immense grief. Treasure Coast Hospice was a great support system for me, which taught me grief takes many forms. Treasure Coast Hospice was a welcome relief giving me an opportunity to share my feelings or just be in the company of others who were experiencing their own loss. The group facilitator was kind, empathetic, and knowledgeable in the ways of grief. Helping me and the group work through the stages of grief and understand that grief manifests itself in different ways. I have recommended Treasure Coast Hospice to other people in need. Our group bonded and we continue to be friends who still meet to support each other and celebrate our lives.
