Fresh out of high school I felt like my only option was to go to college or be working minimum wage the rest of my life. Having only barely graduated this was a bleak look for me, until my shop teacher gave me some resources to look into Constructing Hope. As soon as I read about trade schools and Constructing Hope’s mission I knew it was for me, while attending their pre-apprenticeship program I was so supported and encouraged to find a career that I’d love. They were there around the clock helping with not only information and studies but also food, jobs, tools, clothes, not to mention networking and giving us a real tasting platter of all the trades. Plus I’ve made connections there that will last me throughout my career, I am so thankful for everything they do.
