It took many years and doctors before I was diagnosed with Pompe Disease. Then it was another three years before the treatment drug was approved by the FDA. I was so worried about the cost. My disability check would not cover the co-payment, or even come close. That's when PSI stepped up. Because of PSI, I have been receiving treatment for the past nine years without the stress and worry of paying. Actually without PSI's help, I would not be receiving treatment and would be in much worse shape physically. Probably, to be blunt, I would have already passed on to the next world. I cannot find the words to express my feelings for this great non-profit organization. Thank you!
