I cannot say enough about Skydog Sanctuary and Clare Staples, its founder. Skydog has elevated the Mustang rescue community by educating myriad people through an engaging and uplifting social media presence. In addition, Skydog and Clare have shown great support for other rescues, thus paving the way for more comprehensive advocacy for these magnificent creatures. Most of all, the love and true sanctuary that horses have at Skydog is evident in every interaction. I have had the honor of visiting Skydog Sanctuary Oregon and have witnessed the beauty of these horses living their best lives. Of course we all wish they could remain free on the range, but for those who've been displaced - there is no home like Skydog. Clare's dedication to the horses and to their families is her true calling. I am proud to give Skydog the highest rating.

I am devoted to Skydog, because Skydog Sanctuary is devoted to the animals they save (and so many others). Each rescue is treated with care and love while allowed the freedom they crave.
