Review for NA'AMAT USA, Los Angeles, CA, USA
I joined Na’Amat USA 8 years ago and am so glad I did. We support women’s empowerment and work to decrease domestic violence and abuse by raising both awareness and money to support the programs in Israel. I’m proud to say that our essential services in Israel are offered to all citizens, no matter what religion. Our daycare centers allow families to work knowing their children are safe and secure. We have two youth villages that enable students with different learning styles and needs to be successful with their education.

NA'AMAT USA has a mission to improve the lives of women, children and families in the US and Israel. The organization has moved forward following the start of our new Executive Director who has a strategic view that's starting to be implemented. Our professional staff works hand in hand with our leadership to ensure that funds donated reach Israel with minimal administrative spending.
An example of the impact made by our donations - a senior high school student at one of our residential schools said that he felt like a failure because he was not successful in school in his home environment. Now that he's approaching graduation, he feels like a success because he actually will graduate and enter a highly competitive spot in the paratrooper unit of the Israel Defense Force. That's success!

This organization raises money to fund Israel’s 2nd largest social service provider of day cares, technical high schools, youth villages for at risk teens, women’s shelters, legal services and more. Our mission is empowering women, children and families.
Review for NA'AMAT USA, Los Angeles, CA, USA
I joined this non-profit organization 4 years ago after discovering the important work they do in empowering families and children in Israel. They are the largest NGO in Israel funding over 200 daycare centers, technical high schools, 2 youth villages for adolescents at risk, women's shelters and empowerment centers; legal aid and more.
When I visited Israel last year and saw the incredible work done with the money raised by chapters in the US and 7 countries around the world, I was amazed. In addition, during the COVID-19 pandemic, they continued to support the children and staff by providing remote interactions and food baskets to those in need.
