TFI surpasses what a great nonprofit organization should look like. I became a part of TFI (Teaching Fellows Institute) in 2009. They've been a phenomenal resource for my career in education. This nonprofit has provided a variety of opportunities for educators, from professional development to social activities in the community. TFI has provided venues where I've been able to form meaningful bonds with many fellow educators across the city. When I became extremely I'll from Lupus, TFI spearheaded an effort to support and encourage me with cards and meals. They also assisted monetarily towards my hospital/medical bills. In addition to that huge support, they became involved with raising money for our local Lupus organization by forming a team to Walk for Lupus! TFI has consistently given this same kind of motivation and encouragement to so many educators over the years. They truly deserve to be recognized for their work!
