I found Pink Concussions after my 8th concussion (mild traumatic brain injury, resulting in mild cognitive impairment). I also have a vision issue from my 2nd concussion in 2013 that prevents me from driving. Everyone in this group has been so amazingly supportive. It was my facebook birthday fundraiser, but it's more than just that. Regardless of if I'm having a bad day, experiencing new symptoms or celebrating the smallest victory, everyone at Pink is there to be my tribe. Even when my own friends and some family are not. It's a great group of women who all understand because they either have been there or are there right now. Every journey is different, and yet we all have shared experiences we can learn from. Here is me, test riding a recumbent trike. My pink sisters were so supportive when I shared that I was hoping this could be my transportation solution.
