Never Surrender Hope is a Fantastic Group. They help the downtrodden of Philadelphia by providing clothing and food. On outings, a few vehicles of members drive to these areas, mostly inhabited by addicts and homeless, provide hot meals, snacks, toiltries and clothing all of which are prepared by other members. Even during covid, while not being able to get together like normal, there are still a few members who travel to these areas to provide for these folks food and other items donated by other members as well as taking meals to Recovery Houses and homeless shelters. I have no problem donating food and occasional funds to this group. I have seen, in person, the good works these folks do. They also speak to the addicts and try to talk to them about sobriety and getting into rehab. On my very first outing, I met a young man named Daniel. One of the volunteers worked to get him into rehab after a conversation with him. I believe Daniel has a year sober now. That is FANTASTIC! This program WORKS.
