Over the last year and half the Golden Empire Council continued to provide activities to the youth in Northern California using video services so they could continue their Scouting advancement.

The Boy Scouts of America not only have opportunities for young men and ladies to learn life skills the organization also allow them to learn leadership skills, find hobbies, be a mentor, lead a group of youths ages 10 - 21 and find they can do more than thought. They can work at their council summer camp(s), attend National and World Jamborees and go to the four high adventure camp for hiking, canoeing, sailing, riding mountain and BMX bikes and soaring down zip lines.
