Review for The Prem Rawat Foundation, Los Angeles, CA, USA
A year ago I was involved in efforts to raise funds for TPRF's third "Food for People" initiative. After considerable research, a location in Ghana was selected and a new facility will be constructed next year. Rather than a one-off donation of food, these permanent facilities provide on-going food aid to some of the most disadvantaged people on the planet. They are instrumental in lifting entire communities out of the poverty cycle, and they provide a model for future global initiatives to alleviate poverty in third world countries. Charity Navigator has awarded TPRF a 5 star (highest) rating. http://www.tprf.org
