It is a comfort and inspiration to know that The Prem Rawat Foundation exists.

I can make my small contributions knowing with certainty that it is appreciated and used with utmost integrity and the truest respect for human well-being on all levels, from basic daily needs of nutritious food and clean water to emergency supplies in times of disaster, to practical education in hygiene, growing food, vocational training, facilitating higher education, and making available the Peace Education Program to diverse groups of people of all socio-economic backgrounds, from youth to the elderly.

It is deeply comforting, inspiring, motivating to me.

I am deeply grateful that a non-profit organisation like The Prem Rawat Foundation exists. Founded in 2001, with the highest standards of transparency and accountability, dedicated to helping those in most need and most neglected, victims of natural disasters and other circumstances beyond their control, I have been closely following the work of this organisation. And I am filled with admiration for the intelligence, integrity, practicality, innovation, simplicity, quality, respect, commitment - the list could go on and on - of TPRF www.tprf.org

At its core is the understanding and respect for fundamental human needs, and the ongoing effort to meet and fulfill those needs. I have lost count of the many humanitarian initiatives completed since its inception. Some of them providing ongoing daily vital support of food and water. For example, the Food for People facilities in Northern India and Nepal which has now been operating for several years, with a new facility presently under construction in Ghana.

TPRF keeps in close communication with its supporters through regular reports, videos, photographs, blogs, and I have never before felt so deeply moved and enriched in heart, soul, spirit, by what I see, read, and feel through these communications.

Thanks to The Prem Rawat Foundation (TPRF), I feel absolute certainty that whatever I contribute is put to the best possible use in the best possible way. Nothing is wasted, nothing is lost. This certainty is very precious to me, in a world of uncertainties. I deeply value the honour and integrity that makes this certainty possible.

I am proud of being a regular TPRF's donor for many years now. This monthly contribution expresses my beliefs in helping others to realize that PEACE is an experience and the highest acquisition for finding our real nature, beyond a name, place of birth or anything else that pretends to define or represent me.
TPRF has been active, all over the World, with the Program FOOD FOR PEOPLE (supporting many people with essential meals for children, the access to clean water, the emergency reliefs during natural catastrophes and the Education programs teaching the importance of PEACE to countless of people.

I have been a volunteer and a supporter of TPRF for several years.

I have done typing, transcription, other computer related roles and, more recently, have been a volunteer for its Peace Education Program, assisting the facilitator and taking attendance.

I cannot say enough about this organization. The opportunity to help in even a small way means more than I can say.

What stands out to me the most is the word "Dignity" in its three-fold purpose identifier (Dignity, Peace, Prosperity). This organization exemplifies this in so many different ways. Its programs all encourage that dignity for all people, whether the mission is to feed people, provide water to a community or to teach about peace.

The integrity of TPRF seems to be at its core, as well as the fact that its hundreds of volunteers are truly sincere about the mission of TPRF and of its founder, Prem Rawat. That is what makes this program so meaningful to me.

I have seen what the Food for People program/ FFP - organized by the Prem Rawat foundation -does for children in India, Nepal and Ghana. The children get good warm meals, the parents too and this has a significant impact on their health. I have also seen the very positive impact of the Peace education program in many jails, on inmates, as has been documented in the very impressive film "inside peace". On the website of TPRF.org you can see in how many countries these free programs are given, in jails and Universities and also the research that has been done, to evaluate and improve these programs. You can also start to help yourself , in your own country, because the PEP (Peace Education Program) is an incredible and inspiring program, that really did change a lot of people and it keeps inspiring more and more people, to get back to our roots of being kind, as humans ! I know many volunteers, who work for TPRF personally and i really admire their hard work and passion, to help those in need. Also i know that its all volunteers, so that all the money goes to those, who really need the food and the help, as you can read in the annual report and the Charity Monitor has given the highest star rating, for transparency and reliability in the 2 humanitarian programs (FFP & PEP). I am grateful to be able to help TPRF as a volunteer, meeting so many kind people, from so many countries all over the world. Thank you !

i have been supporting The Prem Rawat Foundation since its inception in 2001. Its mission is to address the fundamental human needs for food, water, and peace. TPRF partners with local organizations to meet fundamental needs for food and water in some very under served areas around the world (e.g., Nepal, Ghana, Bantoli, india), and it does so while preserving the culture, sense of pride, and dignity in the people who receive its care. TPRF also offers a free Peace Education Program in many places around the world where people are looking for personal peace - ranging from prisons to community centers, from adult education classrooms to wellness centers and more. TPRF is a dynamic and energized globallly active foundation whose volunteers come from every walk of life, have diverse cultural, ethnic, and religious (and non-religious) backgrounds, and who simply want to help people to have their best chance in the world at peace, dignity, and prosperity.

TPRF brings food, water and education to the poorest in the world and hope to the most down-trodden. Working for them and learning about them has been one of the most important things I have done in my life. The prison outreach program has had great success helping those who choose to change their lives actually make that change and become law abiding, peace loving and positive members of society.

The Prem Rawat Foundation has a program called the Peace Education Program.
http://tprf.org/en/news-and-features/peace-education-program-news

I am a volunteer on the Peace Education Program ( PEP ) for Veterans , a Pilot Program here in Asheville NC . We hope to take the program to young veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan . I personally have benefitted from being a facilitator in feeling more resolved in my Life to enjoy and be in Peace with my self and others and helping others to also understand and experience Peace using the PEP.

The PEP is now found in prisons,  senior facilities, hospitals, universities, colleges, adult
education associations and community centers, impacting lives around the world.

The Prem Rawat Foundation has other programs addressing the fundamental human needs of food, water and peace so that people can live with dignity, peace and prosperity.

I am a current volunteer for The Prem Rawat Foundation. TPRF recognizes that there are certain fundamental needs that people must have in order to live life with dignity. What distinguishes this Foundation from others, is the recognition that Peace is as fundamental a need as clean water and food. Under the direction of Prem Rawat, the board, and a large group of international volunteers, we strive to make the message of peace within available to as many people as possible, regardless of where they live and their life circumstance.

When a person has peace, they have everything. At least, this is my experience.

I’ve had the chance to serve on the Board of Directors for two non-profits, as a Programs Director of a third, and currently as a partner in a company that provides fundraising services to this sector. I have three observations about TPRF that I’d like to share.
First, by many criteria, TPRF is a tiny organization. But its size belies its impact. It leverages its effectiveness through partnerships with larger entities that respect its management and responsiveness. Over 50 such charitable organizations have co-ventured with TPRF on urgent humanitarian projects dealing with food or water - organizations such as Oxfam and Mercy Corps.
Secondly, it publishes externally audited financial statements annually. It should be noted that it surpasses the high standards for financial transparency as recognized by third parties such as Charity Navigator and GuideStar.
And finally, it distinguishes itself in its peace work. It actively creates programs that address peace as a basic human right, like the right to food and water. And while it does this at a very human and individual level, the uniqueness of this work has been recognized by significant global entities such as the United Nations Association and the European Parliament.
In summary, the actions of TPRF over the past 11 years have withstood the tests of time and scrutiny and speak with much more authority than I ever could.

There are many great nonprofits which deserve our support My personal choice is TPRF As well as its humanitarian aid centered around key essentials such as clean water ,nutritious food and eye care it provides a inspiring message of peace regardless of race religion or lifestyle. Its Peace Education Programs designed to be used in a variety of organizations has recently nurtured the feeling of peace in many prison environments throughout the world. TPRF's core people are small in number but large in heart. This enables that the maximum amount of funds end up where the most good can be done. The Foundation chooses their partners wisely to facilitate aid as quickly as possible and to support self reliance and accountability amongst recipients. With great confidence I can recommend this Foundation to anyone wanting to make a difference.

TPRF has become my charity of choice for a couple of reasons: One, the dedication to a concrete value for the programs they support and initiate. Two, because of the person who founded it, Prem Rawat, who has held a remarkable consistency of purpose to teach the value and preciousness of life and this passion permeates the whole of the foundation and all the people involved and I truly enjoy the results of their wonderful programs too.

I have been a TPRF contributor since its inception more than ten years ago and a volunteer on its core team for almost 3 years. Especially during these recent years of being so close to the organization, I have found myself more and more amazed at how much TPRF accomplishes through the combined global efforts of volunteers and contributors like me. There are so many generous, dedicated people making TPRF what it is, each in his or her own way. I feel honored and uplifted to be one of them. Between TPRF and its supporters there is a kind of mutual admiration society. TPRF respects them, and they respect TPRF. I think many people share the feeling of amazement at what the simple and heartfelt good will of people can do through TPRF. To me, the guidance and the inspiration of TPRF's founder is the key to this overflowing good feeling. TPRF is still something of a "best kept secret," but I see that changing with programs like Food for People, now in India, Nepal, and Ghana, and Peace for People all over the world. To me, these two program titles -- Food for People and Peace for People -- summarize the TPRF story beautifully. I truly hope that TPRF will continue to gain the positive recognition it deserves, not because TPRF needs the recognition, but because I know that each person who begins to notice the goodness of TPRF is fortunate and richly blessed. Look and look again at TPRF. Absolutely, check the transparent financial reports that have earned it consistent top rankings from the analysts. By all means, explore its many wonderful projects to advance food, water, and peace globally. And listen for yourself to what TPRF’s founder has to say about food, water, and peace. Keep looking in all these ways and perhaps you will start to sense the quality of the feeling behind all this. That feeling is what I find unique, beautiful, and unforgettable.

I am always amazed how a relatively small public foundation, powered by volunteers, can make such a positive impact internationally. There are many wonderful organizations that help provide the fundamental needs of food and water, but what makes The Prem Rawat Foundation (TPRF) unique is that it promotes the understanding that personal peace is also a fundamental human need, and it fosters dignity, peace and prosperity. The Adventure Project partnered with the Prem Rawat Foundation to help raise money to provide clean drinking water to over 200,000 people in India. What is great about this program is it works to provide a sustainable solution to help bring clean drinking water to people and help them maintain there water wells. It is nice to see your money go for good, make a difference and get reports back on where your money goes. I look forward to more great projects with the The Prem Rawat Foundation

I appreciate the regular blog posts with the details of where my donations are going. There is a great need for accountability in this day and age and I am comforted to know that even my small donation is making a difference in others lives. Knowing that a certain dollar amount provided water for 100,000 people matters to me. I'm thanked via email for every donation I make which is also a plus. Making some small bit of difference matters and knowing the specifics of what is being provided to those in need on a global scale matters too.

For me the Prem Rawat Foundation has found the right balance between providing care and assistance where needed, without creating a continuing dependence on that care. The Food for People program in particular, has created a model for change which is reproducible and sustainable on any scale. Facilities in Nepal, India and soon in Ghana, provide nutritious food and clean water in a way that utilizes local produce and once under way, is sustained by the villagers themselves. The core mission behind these and other projects, as outlined by Prem Rawat, is to address fundamental human needs so that people everywhere can live their lives with dignity, peace, and prosperity. My experience in working with this Foundation is that these are not just "nice words" but are put into practice in a real and effective way.

This is my charity of choice when donating to ease the suffering of people around the world. I know Prem Rawat travels extensively around the world and regularly visits the areas his charity targets. I also trust this charity to research worthy programs and execute them diligently. And what is always nice when giving to charity is to see a very large percentage of the donation actually going to the program rather than 'overheads', which this largely volunteer-run charity can afford to do.

A year ago I was involved in efforts to raise funds for TPRF's third "Food for People" initiative. After considerable research, a location in Ghana was selected and a new facility will be constructed next year. Rather than a one-off donation of food, these permanent facilities provide on-going food aid to some of the most disadvantaged people on the planet. They are instrumental in lifting entire communities out of the poverty cycle, and they provide a model for future global initiatives to alleviate poverty in third world countries.
