It is inconceivable to fathom that sex trafficking is prevalent where we live, but in truth it is everywhere and continuing to grow in size and scope. In fact, the state of Pennsylvania ranks 9th in the nation for most reported cases. This world crisis has reached epidemic proportion with 30 million women and girls trafficked every year, and revenue generating nearly 100 billion.
Now more than ever, it is critical for businesses, legislators, lawmakers and citizens to take a stand against this human injustice. Jan Wilson and Zoie Roppelt - the founders of Sparrow Place, are passionate about making this issue forefront news and are committed to bringing women out of the life of trafficking where they will be offered healing, empowerment and a way forward to a life of their own choosing.
