I had to sit through the pitch because their people do not start off asking if it is even a good time to talk. At the end of the pitch and calling me a "good person" to try and shame me into donating I began to explain that I cannot afford to donate because I am stuck in court. I was sold a house that is a health and safety hazard, has multiple violations and I have legal expenses. Instead of because a decent human being and apologizing for wasting both our times, he hung up on me like I'm a POS because they couldn't get their donation. I'm pretty sure treating people with kindness and respect doesn't go out of style and to that I have to say this cause will never receive a donation from me ever because I deserve the same kind of sympathy and respect they want. That they couldn't act with kindness shows they lack style and are outdated. You can only shame your way into peoples pocket so many times.
