In December 2018 I received a message from a fellow cancer warrior family with a phone number from FAM that I needed to contact ASAP. We did, and within a couple of hours, FAM showed up at our door with a much needed stash of gifts and toys for our kids for Christmas. We had been battling leukemia for a year and a half and funds were very tight. It was a total surprise and gave us all so much relief. I watched FAM on Facebook for almost a year after that help family after family and when we were finally at a better place in our battle I felt compelled to give back. FAM truly creates an atmosphere of ongoing support and encourages families to stick around and help others. I'm proud to be a part of this FAMily.
