My daughter was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma (a bone cancer) November 2020. Due to cancer her leg needed to be amputated and she needed 18 rounds of intense chemotherapy. The past 8 months we have practically lived in a hospital. Our quality mother daughter time turned into sad stressful fearful days. It has been a long road and when we came across FAM our lives instantly changed!!!! I mean from fundraising to just awareness about my daughter and other children all over the country; Fighting All Monsters does it all!! Recently the flew myself my daughter and so many other cancer families to Orlando Florida!!!! My daughter and I were able to have a stress free vacation and be us again!!! It felt / feels so good to have my daughter happy and smiling!!! They took care of us and made sure all the kids had the time of their lives. I couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunity this organization has provided my whole family but specifically my daughter!! I highly recommend you check them out!! And please if your child ever is suffering from a life threatening illness reach out to FAM!!! They will guide you through and be there even when your child kicks cancers butt!!!!!!

We met FAM through Cori, an amazing woman in the midst of her own battle helping families like ours. Our 6 year old son was battling a relapse of the same cancer as Cori and she was so kind to help me understand what he may be going through with treatment. Sadly as there isn’t a great outcome for relapse Ewing sarcoma, our sweet son passed away and FAM facilitated a fundraiser that allowed us to ensure all funeral expenses were taken care of and we were able to create a future for his super sibling brother.l that we could not have even thought of with out it. We are so grateful for Fighting All Monsters.

What can I say about FAM that hasn't already been said. ill start off with my daughters story.
My daughter was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma stage 4 at the age of 2. She endured complications after complication.. When we were half way through treatment, I seen a post from another little girl I been following who was looking for a tablet. I decided to make a post, seeing if anyone had a used one.
One of Alayna's followers tagged FAM in my status.
I got ahold of them & they pulled through for this little girl, a brand new tablet!! I didn't get super involved but I followed their post.
A couple months later I got a message from an amazing women also fighting cancer, Cori. She was one of the most persistent people I got the privilege of knowing.
She followed Alayna's post & knew we been having troubles getting her to do any PT or OT.
So she suggested us make a video of Alayna dancing to FAM theme song "bad boys for life- P Diddy. It was the first time I was able to actually get Alayna up & moving. She danced so much. It made me so happy. After that I got more involved, started following more stories. Alayna spent 7 months straight in the hospital. She was depressed/moody... at only 3 years old. FAM did what they do best, they spoiled her, made her smile! id get messages from Cori & the other volunteers, checking on my sweet girl & me. They became one of my biggest support systems. When my daughter passed away, FAM set up a fundraiser to help us out, with funeral expenses/medical expenses & then a year after Alayna passed I got a message from another persistent person we all love, Milk. He messaged me and told me I been invited to a mom retreat in the Florida keys, he wasn't taking no for a answer. I honestly couldn't believe it. They gave me the experience of a life time. They really out did themselves. I got to meet the most amazing people, I couldn't say thank you enough.
I highly recommend being apart of this amazing foundation. They don't just focus on the kids, but the parents as well. I am forever apart of their FAMily!

Losing a child to cancer is an unimaginable thing. While there were many wonderful foundations that offered amazing support while our daughter was in treatment finding financial support as a bereaved parent was harder. FAM came through and We will always be overwhelmed by the support. This is a FAMily.

I have seen how much Fighting All Monsters have helped families who have children battling cancer. As a mother of a warrior I know how financial hardship is a part of cancer diagnosis. Having to take care of a sick child is a full time job. Fighting All Monsters donates the proceeds directly to the families in need.

When my daughter was diagnosed with neuroblastoma I had a huge hole in my heart and needed to find something to give my energy to and to fill a void. Volunteering for FAM has been a huge blessing for me and I was able to give to an organization that is more than that, but a true FAMily. They have been amazing to my family the last couple years and I couldn’t be happier to be a part of a group of people that truly give their all in absolutely everything they do!

My son, Ryder was diagnosed with grade 4 brain cancer (Medulloblastoma) when he was 3 and although I would trade that journey for anything, FAM has shown my FAMily what good can come out of a bad situation. Through FAM, we have made life long friends and had support that we wouldn’t have otherwise! FAM is truly the epitome of what a non profit should be and I am incredibly thankful for them and what they do and stand for!

Our son Josh battled Osteosarcoma for almost 3 years before he gained his wings. Josh has 3 brothers. When we were unable to get Christmas gifts, FAM was there to help us out. Milk visited Josh in the hospital many times and they had a strong friendship. Milk even through a 16th birthday party for Josh in the hospital with all his FAMily. We are blessed to have Milk and FAM in our lives. We have seen FAM help FAMilies out in real time when other organizations only help you according to their rules and regulations. FAM is and forever will be the best non profit organization ever.

I cannot thank them enough for everything. During struggling times, milk without hesitation reached out and made sure we were taken care of. My daughter received a iPad (which is amazing on doctors visits to keep her busy), we received two Christmas grants that both helped us give our girls the best Christmas ever and took a huge weight off our shoulders. They hold strong core values, and they never limit themselves when it comes to giving. They go all out for FAMilies. We love y’all.

My daughter was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma brain cancer in 2019. FAM was there for us every step of the way, from sending my daughter amazing gifts (an off-road trike, a KITTEN, a pool, etc.) and helping us with $1,000 at the holidays to provide Christmas for my daughter and her siblings.

More than anything, I found a community of other mothers, direct support from the founder (I can call or text Milk any time and he always responds), and a FAMily with whom I could share joy in the midst all of this hardship and pain.

FAM is a standout organization with standout people, and I’m thrilled I get to be apart.

We got connected very early on in our childhood cancer journey with FAM when my daughter was diagnosed with ALL (leukemia) in 2019. FAM gifted our family $1,000 during the Christmas giveaway and it covered the cost of one of our medical bills and was a huge lifesaver. Immediately we became involved and felt welcomed with open arms. FAM continues to provide support and resources for families in the trenches of trauma induced by life threatening illnesses. One thing that has always been special to me is how FAM supports loved ones after a child has died from their illness. Milk Tyson and his team volunteers are relentless in their fight for funding cures and providing comfort for families going through the darkest moments of their lives. From the childcare costs coverage they provided us, to encouragement over the phone or social media, to the most amazing and luxurious moms retreat I could have ever imagined…our family has been deeply loved by FAM. We will be forever grateful for their impact on our life.

When my daughter was diagnosed with ALL in 2019 I felt lost and alone. I immediately started searching for groups with families who knew what we were going through so we could lean on each other. I found FAM! FAM is filled with some of the most positive and loving people I’ve ever met. They not only provide emotional support but also fund many trips, meals for those hospitalized (which they’ve done for us while my daughter was in inpatient), inspiration and a message of not being just another support group but FAMily. I recommend them to every parent I meet with a child fighting a monster so even when they’re weak they’ll know there’s an army behind them holding up a shield and steadying their sword. After my daughter's cancer diagnosis, we received help from *A LOT* of non-profit organizations. Most of these organizations provide a little assistance then go on to help others, disappearing from your life. Not so with FAM! FAM creates a community of support which lasts while simultaneously cutting through a lot of the red tape which burdens other orgs. My daughter received an iPad from them our first Christmas with them and we love taking part in their events. I know cancer, because I've been there. For me, seeing kids fighting cancer and incurable diseases, is heartbreaking. They shouldn't have to go through the same stuff I did. These kids, and their families, shouldn't feel alone. They shouldn't be denied help from organizations because of some red tape or politics. They need to be loved, cared for, and have some weight taken off their shoulders. While I may not have benefited directly from FAM, my friends and their son have. When they got the worst news of their life, FAM swept in, and lifted some of their burden. When my friends finally got to celebrate Christmas together with all three of their kids, far away from home and family because their son was getting treatments, FAM was there again. And when bad news again, as is often the case unfortunately, FAM was there yet again. I feel so blessed to have spent a day with Milk, Mark, and Liz to help Malcolm and friends not feel so alone on their journey. FAM is a FAMily and my family grew that day. And as I see FAM work tirelessly, I am constantly amazed at how big FAM is growing. They aren't turning people away, they are welcoming more FAMilies into the mix. They are go above and beyond, and I love them for it.

The members and volunteers are absolutely amazing. The love and support shown for each member of the FAMily is such a blessing to see. From providing iPads for kids in medical treatment, to providing funds for emergencies and final expenses, to helping families during the holidays, to hosting a wonderful retreat for moms who either have lost a child or who have cared for or are caring for a child with severe medical issues, FAM reaches out to support so many who are hurting.
Milk Tyson works non-stop to do everything in his power to make time in treatment easier for kids and FAMilies who need someone to stand by them when they often feel alone. They gave her 500 dollars to be able to use to buy more gifts for her hospital and local Ronald Macdonald house. They also suprised her with a new 55 inch smart TV for her room. Best nonprofit ever! They give money to pay bills, help with amazing support for the kids, and even help parents heal TOGETHER. I have been through so many groups throughout my daughter's treatment, but none can touch this one! ALL money goes straight to families, and most of their volunteers ARE from the families! Cannot top FAM.

FAM has been supporting our family since the beginning of my daughters journey back in 2019. Initially FAM provided emotional support by creating a safe environment to find other parents like us to talk with, share stories, and ask questions. I would have never found such an amazing support system without FAM. Throughout the last few years, FAM has also given us financial support for Christmas, taken us to shopping for needs during treatment, even sent me a vacuum when mine broke! They have been with us and supporting us every step of the way.

We are FAMily.

FAM is just that — a FAMily that helps people whose children have received a life threatening diagnosis. These times are so scary and this organization does so much and works so hard to help as many families as they can. If your family is facing this type of diagnosis, this is the place to be! 10/10 recommend!

From financial help, community support, no fee fundraisers, raising awareness and the incredible trips and gifts they do for kids and families (including mine) I could not be more grateful. There is no other foundation as dedicated and with as many resources as fighting all monsters. Truly a life saver.

Unfortunately by the time I was helped by FAM our son, Christian had already passed but I was considered FAMily, regardless. I was sponsored to join 50 plus other women in FAMs 1st Moms retreat at Islamorada, FL. I gotta say it brought me laughter I was missing, love from other cancer moms that I desperately was in need of to remind me that I am not alone. I was able to meet my soul sister, Ashley for the first time and feel like it wasn't our first meet up, I was honored to have met all types of women with different personalities to add to my list of friends for life. I was humbled by the experience, I knew I needed healing but I didn't know where to find it or if I'd ever but in just a short amount of time I have come to learn that FAM brings you in and let's you know you're stuck with them till the very end. Thank you FAM and thank you Milk.

Fam has been absolutely amazing they are literally a light in this dark never ending tunnel of suck! Our now 14 yr old was diagnosed I’m March of 2018 with a rare incurable kidney disease by may of 2019 he was in complete renal failure and started Diyalisis.it’s now 2021 and he is still on Diyalisis his disease has caused not only renal failure but 16 other diagnosis all stemming from his kidney disease. Most charities turn us away because our sons disease doesn’t have a charity to help pay for all the things that go with it FAM never turned us away they never held every thing up with red tape they have always come thru for us a lot more goes into a child with a disease like this u may think it’s monthly dr check ins well it’s that plus gas food hotel stays prescription co pay dr co pays emergency admits and not having a dime for food. A lot of us have all these extra expenses tossed on us and a lot of us are forced to loose our jobs because our children require around the clock care and employees see parents like us as a unreliable because our children take priority not only do the help raise money for families they do something so much more important they provide a safe place filled with people who understand what your going thru so u can cry scream vent ask questions or provide a much needed laugh. They truly treat you like family!

Jayden is our 13 yr old he is autistic with serious sensory issues on march of 2018 he was diagnosed with a incurable kidney disease nepherotic syndrome with fsgs and tje collapsing varient all those big medical terms mean he has a very rare for of a rare kidney disease he went from perfect healthy kidneys to complete renal failure in 14 months this is normal with the collapsing varient we tried every medication available nothing worked and we were told up front he will definitely get cancer just a matter of when. And seeing as how most of the med used to treat this are infact cancer meds seems odd but what do i know so now hes still on diyalis wich by the way is completely brutal hoping for a transplant next year and no the transplant isnt a fix or a cure the expect the disease will come back and start attacking the new kidney before hes even out of recovery and so the cycle continues until we run out of veins to use for diyalis then we either pray they have come up with a cure or we have to send him to his guardian angels to wait for us in heaven. This disease also causes heart damage can cause them not to grow and the diyalis throws his bodys levels way off so theres a real possibility he will get what is called brittle bone disease but here we are 2020 2 years in and hes had 80 admisions and 42 surgries.

There just aren't enough words to describe the blessing FAM has been to our family over the last 2 years. My granddaughter was diagnosed with leukemia in August 2018, and we were introduced to FAM shortly after that. They immediately reached out to us to see what they could do to offer support for our entire family, not just my granddaughter, her siblings and parents, but also myself, my husband and my autistic son who were also really struggling with the news and the changes that had to be made for all of us.
Over the last two years, we have been blessed to become true FAMily of those at this organization. Milk, Amber, and the other volunteers have loved us and supported us in so many ways and we are truly thankful and blessed to be a part of this wonderful community.

We’ve had contact with a few foundations which I’d many turned us down for not being qualified enough (which our child has/had CANCER) I never understand why they put stipulation on the fact that being diagnosed within some many months before reaching out for help..(you couldn’t get help if you didn’t ask for it within 3 months of diagnosis...etc) Milk and FAM knew our struggles and has never turned us away.

We moved to Memphis after Micah’s second treatment in Tampa. Put our house up for sale and bought one here. For us it was a no brainer because Micah’s diagnosis was extremely rare and dangerous. In fact he’s the only kid at St. Jude to have it right now. One of our favorite doctors there actually wrote the protocol. We’ve been in the hospital over 100 days all together and away from the rest of our 7 family members. My husband had to take a leave of absence and then covid hit. So no one was working and I was on a sabbatical right before we moved. There was a problem with the title company on the day of close and our closing fell through, leaving us with a few months of mortgage that we needed to catch up on. This foundation reached out to us, started an incredible fundraiser, raised ALL of the money we needed to catch up! They didn’t receive a penny and sent it early to us so we would have it on time. Their messages were so supportive. I could fell the passion, compassion and love with every interaction. We are so thankful for their support and how they helped take something off our our plates that could have been a HUGE burden. We are extremely thankful for the FAM.

It is incredible to see the wonderful adventures the kids get to have because of FAM - Fighting All Monsters. Some have been on the Ellen Degeneres Show. Some have been on jet skis for the first time, got to go to the Super Bowl, and FAM has decorated some hospital rooms. This is by far the coolest organization.

I noticed a few things seem to be off about this foundation after I joined their groups. Major red flag for me was when the founder of the foundation started stating they would would be requiring social security numbers in order to receive help. When anyone asks questions about things that seem off, they get blocked. Then volunteers go and attack the people's profiles for trying to warn people
