I've been sending hats to Knots of Love with a focus on children and veterans undergoing cancer treatment.
I particularly enjoy selecting colors suggested by KOL that represent the various branches of service. The hats are distributed to veterans all over the US.
It's such a treat to get feedback on where the items have gone.
1 skein makes two beanies so the cost is a pittance compared to the value of the recipient's service.
