Review for Southern California Bulldog Rescueinc, Santa Ana, CA, USA
We have had English Bulldogs in our life for 25 years. We have adopted our last 5 from SCBR. They work tirelessly to rescue Bullies from shelters and get them into SCBR. Once there, they assess a dog's needs and pay for needed surgeries and medical treatments, regardless of cost, to heal the dogs before adoption. They are all volunteers that work tirelessly to pick up dogs from shelters and people's homes or wherever and do home checks on potential adoptive families. They have many volunteers that foster dogs and help dogs with behavior problems to be ready for forever homes. They make sure a dog and family are compatible to ensure happiness and success for all. They are there with advice to help you when needed. Skip, the head of SCBR, and his volunteers spend hours doing fund raisers at least every month. They hold meet and greet adoption events every 2 weeks. There are many dogs that have to be boarded because there just aren't enough foster homes for all of them. I can't say enough good things about SCBR. As our dogs pass on from this life, we call or email the next day and they are so kind to help us fill that void of losing a dog. Thank you SCBR for the incredible, compassionate work you do to save these sweet dogs and get them into a forever home.
