About 4 years ago I walked into a pet store and there was an adoption event going on. I fell in love with my Penny and applied for her. Within a day my references were called and someone contacted me for a home check. The process was very smooth and professional. I adopted my Penny the following week. I was asked would I want to foster. I didn't think I could do that because I would want to keep all the dogs. I thought about fostering and decided to give it a try. Well about 127 foster dogs later I am still fostering. I have adopted 6 dogs from One Love Animal Rescue, these are dogs that I have fostered. As a volunteer and foster I find that everyone is very helpful, if there is a problem with a dog there is always someone you can reach out to. The group works together to find the best fit possible for the dogs that come into the rescue, it's not first come first serve, they really try to find the home that the dog or cat would live out the rest of their life in. I recommend One Love to everyone, people in the vet office, at the supermarket and even while out walking my dogs or a foster dog. This is a great organization and I hope we can continue to save more and more animals in the years to come.
