Bailing out Benji is a highly organized and proactive non-profit that benefits so many animals and raises awareness in the community by educating about the cruel connection between pet stores and puppy mills. In addition to in-person events and protests, they share resources, educational articles, letter campaigns, etc. Animals in 'puppy mills' are used for profit, continually bred until they no longer produce, and then discarded like trash. They suffer from malnutrition (or starvation) because of unsanitary food and water while sick or dying animals receive little or no veterinary care. Say NO to pet stores and puppy mills and adopt instead!
