Kosish is the story of one man's crusade to make palliative care accessible to all. One of the pioneering palliative care instutions of East India, Kosish is led by the dynamic Dr Abhijit Dam and his team of dedicated doctors, medical workers, social workers and volunteers.
Kosish focusses on holistic wellbeing as opposed to only medical care. Compassion and kindness are the pillars on which this unique institution stands. Apart from hosting and caring for terminally ill patients, Kosish has also made significant efforts to better the lives of women, children and the elderly poor who live in the surrounding villages through their outreach programmes. I have personally spent a significant amount of time with Kosish and Dr Dam and can vouch for the genuineness and sincerity of their efforts.
Any support offered to this wonderful institution is guaranteed to reach the actual beneficiaries without any leakages and will transform their lives.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Kosish runs more on dedication and willpower of the one individual than on funds. If I had the power and the ability, I would offer them enough money to be able to do all that Dr Dam dreams of doing to help the underpriviledged young people, the homeless and ill elderly and the rural poor in their region.
