I followed Muddy Paws Rescue on instagram (such cute puppy content!) for months before I decided I wanted to take the plunge and sign up to volunteer, and I'm so glad I did! I signed up without knowing anybody, but the staff was so incredibly kind and welcoming. Onboarding is super organized, so I felt empowered and supported as I learned the ropes of adoption events. I got to meet a ton of great people, plus I've gotten in lots of puppy time! Working with MPR makes me feel like I'm genuinely making a difference in people's (and pups') lives, which is just such an amazing feeling. On top of all of that, they reached out and invited me to participate even more behind-the-scenes using my other passions/skillsets (I make videos in my real job, and now I get make some for MPR!). I'm so proud to volunteer with them, and highly recommend them if you're looking for a dog, a foster organization, or a volunteer opportunity!
