We initially got approved to adopt a dog that turned out not to be the right fit for our family. But our adoption coordinator at OPH emailed us when she came across a dog that fit our family. And that led us to adopting Luna, who may be the sweetest and most loving dog we've had! Luna had heart worms so could not come home immediately, but the foster mom kept us informed on her progress, treatment, and sent lots of pictures. Also, OPH provides such great information and resources for adopting and transitioning a dog into a new home. They also follow-up after the adoption, which shows me how much they truly care about the lives (both dog and human) they rescue. We have been so impressed with every single aspect from the start!
