Our son went through open heart surgery before Lexiam Heart Foundation existed, and we had no local support system. I was so excited to see this Foundation step up fill such a necessary role for NM families - providing both financial and moral support. My son loves the Superhero Heart Run they organize every year - they always make him feel so special 😀

The Lexiam Heart Foundation came to be after we went through open heart surgery with my son, and I'm so glad New Mexico families now have this resource! It was a lonely, scary journey by ourselves. This is a tremendous and need resource for heart parents/kids. 💓
