Operation Paws for Homes is the absolute best place to adopt a dog. Like many others, I took advantage of the stay at home order to adopt a dog. I reached out to countless rescues, but OPH was the first to get back to me. The adoption application process was thorough and in depth. I appreciated this so much as a first time dog owner - getting the information I needed up front about training and behavior was absolutely pivotal when I took my dog, Monty, home.

Not only does OPH provide doggy matchmaking to help match you with the perfect dog, they also provide lots of post-adoption support. From answering medical history related questions to providing free training sessions and training information, I felt wholly supported on my adoption journey.

I would like to thank Jill, Lisa, and Cheryl for helping me take my doggy soul mate home. Monty and I would recommend this rescue to anyone and I look forward to working with OPH to adopt and foster another dog in the future! - Monty and Benny
