Although the mission statement for this foundation is laudable, it was my experience that these goals are not being met. I adopted a senior dog with special needs relying on the promises, both made orally and in writing, of support offered by FFF. I experienced some behavioral issues with my new pet's inability to get along with other animals. I was promised a home visit to support me in helping my dog adjust to his new home. This never materialized. When I was unexpectedly hospitalized, I relied on the foundation's promise to foster my new pet until I was once again able to come home and reunite with him. Instead, due to the fact that I'd expressed dissatisfaction with the unkept promises, when I requested his return, I was informed that THEY'D decided to rehome my dog and that I would not be welcome at their facility in the future. I believe they said that their decision was based on their perception that I had "lost confidence and trust " in FFF. My heart is broken. I don't know how they can be allowed to do such a thing!
