This foundation only cares about their bottom line not the animals. They do make a profit and have assets. Not every dollar goes to the dogs like they claim. They adopted my dog out of the kennel before I got to it. He was in a whole different city. Since I’ve found out FFF had him I tried calling emailing for updates with no response. I drove down there 2 hours away to be turned away. They don’t want an old owner of a dog popping up because they collected a grant for that dog. It’s all about the money to them. Here’s a photo of my dog they adopted that they won’t let me have an update on let alone a visit. Thanks Andrew and Kelly for absolutely blocking a relationship between a man and his dog. Sincerely Travis Lewis of Riverside, Ca

I have been part of and volunteered at many dog rescues over the years and Frosted Faces Foundation never ceases to amaze me at how wonderfully the dogs and cats in their care are treated, how organized and compassionate the founders Kelly and Andy are and what an amazing job the volunteers and staff do to take care of the animals in their care. The huge and numerous play yards, which usually contain a bunch of little dogs relaxing in the sun, or one to two larger dogs running and playing, feel like someone's relaxing back yard. Volunteers can be seen daily walking the dogs around the trails of the property or relaxing in the play yards giving the dogs attention.

The programs they have are great also, including assisting lower income families with medical bills, placing difficult dogs with fosters and many more. I highly recommend this rescue.

We have adopted several dogs from this rescue. They are upfront about the mental and physical state of the dog and issues that may arise. The dogs are thoroughly vetted and health issues addressed. They keep a close eye on the dogs they adopt out as they feel responsible for entrusting them to their adopters. The organization is there for the fosters and the adopters with advice if you have a question or a problem and they will always take the animal back if it doesn't work out. Everybody connected to the organization is very committed to giving these animals the best life possible.

This senior dog rescue is truly special. They adopt out many dogs who are in their golden years and pair them with a loving and caring home. Their facility in Ramona is beautiful and they have wonderful volunteers that attend to the dogs. The owners, Kelly and Andy are extremely compassionate and hardworking. They devote their lives to helping senior dogs find great people and homes!

Very bad, emotional experience with this organization. The experience I witnessed and unfortunately was part of was bizarre and emotionally devastating. Please be aware that FFF writes their contracts in a way that they can repossess your fur baby if they don't like ...
-your attitude
-the "tension" when you meet with them
-their vet (who sucks, by the way)
-they decide the dog "is too thin", "fat", "unhealthy" or really anything else they don't like
-whatever else they or their "liaisons" don't like
So if you decide to be involved with this group, you had better kiss their butts and make sure they don't decide to take "their" dog back.
There is something seriously wrong with a group that would do this to an old woman. But this is what happened. She is heartbroken. This is not right.

Although the mission statement for this foundation is laudable, it was my experience that these goals are not being met. I adopted a senior dog with special needs relying on the promises, both made orally and in writing, of support offered by FFF. I experienced some behavioral issues with my new pet's inability to get along with other animals. I was promised a home visit to support me in helping my dog adjust to his new home. This never materialized. When I was unexpectedly hospitalized, I relied on the foundation's promise to foster my new pet until I was once again able to come home and reunite with him. Instead, due to the fact that I'd expressed dissatisfaction with the unkept promises, when I requested his return, I was informed that THEY'D decided to rehome my dog and that I would not be welcome at their facility in the future. I believe they said that their decision was based on their perception that I had "lost confidence and trust " in FFF. My heart is broken. I don't know how they can be allowed to do such a thing! PLEASE BEWARE of dealing with FROSTED FACES FOUNDATION of Ramona, CA
