Palomacy has inspired more aviaries, more safe homes for pigeons and doves, and more P & D rescues than anyone alive. As a newbie founder of a pigeon and dove rescue (inspired by my work with Palomacy) I am grateful for all they have done to pave the way for a better understanding of and appreciation for pigeons in particular, as well as how many birds they have saved and how many people they have converted to pigeon lovers.

Palomacy has helped me in so many ways that it would be hard to list them all. When I found a young ringneck dove I’m my yard 4 years ago, they gave me the attention, care and immediate responses to help me build him an aviary, get him to safety and adopt him a mate. 3 years later a pair of domestic pigeons showed up in the neighborhood, and again they supported me in my endeavor to rescue them and provide them a good home. I know have 2 ringneck doves and 8 pigeons, and have fallen so in love with not only the birds but the Palomacy community that I volunteer for the organization. In particular, Palomacy’s Facebook help group is a shining example of how social media can be used for good. This group is doing everything right to support these birds, educate people on their amazing personalities, and change the world for so many abused, abandoned and lost pigeons and doves.
