Team Kareem is an amazing organization that raises awareness for the prevention of drowning for children. I became aware of this organization through Keisha who is the founder. Her story is heartbreaking but her ability to take such a personal loss and turn it into an educational experience for others takes a special person. Keisha's goal to teach young children how to prevent drowning should be one shared by everyone. No family should have to go through that, and just a few lessons can help save lives. Please, share the information. Be aware of your children and grandchildren when you're around water. Don't just assume someone else is watching them. It only takes a few seconds to change a family forever.
