My travel buddy and I were the first two guests in The Cottage @ Lawton Manor in GA this weekend. What a grand experience! I’ll be sure to share w/ other moms of individuals w/ Down syndrome and other extra needs as well as friends who are caregivers of aging parents, etc.

The cottage is well-appointed and near several restaurants from which we did carry-.out only (think COVID). Innkeeper Sharon and founder Andrea were quite pleasant and especially interested in hearing our ideas of necessary items in the cottage that were missing.

My favorite part was sitting under the trees in the cool breeze this last morning, soaking up the sun & solace. Thank you, ladies, for a great respite!
