I first fell in love with Greyhounds in 1990. Since that time I have worked with a variety of rescue groups. I have fostered, adopted, volunteered and donated to groups working diligently to care for Greyhounds. When we moved back to the DFW area I researched all local rescue groups and whole heartedly decided to support GALT. They stand out in exemplary fashion in their care of all Greyhounds no matter their origins. I currently volunteer occasionally at the kennel and also serve as a foster home. I've never been associated with a group that provides the same level of meticulous medical and emotional care that GALT volunteers provide for every single hound in their care. I feel blessed to have been accepted into their ranks as a volunteer.
