Review for New Bohemia Group Inc, Cedar Rapids, IA, USA
One group continues to sing, dance, and stand up tall in the face of the devastating flood that ravaged the 200-year-old Bohemian community in Cedar Rapids, Iowa: the New Bohemian Group.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
open everyone's heart to song, renew a home for the great Czech and Slovak culture and artifacts in Czech town, Cedar Rapids, and show the world that we were down but not out. In doing so, world leaders like Bill Clinton, Vlac Havel and others would return here and celebrate our successes.

Review for Neighborhood Transportation Service Inc, Cedar Rapids, IA, USA
This community transport keeps people without licenses, or working second/third shift, from having to say no to work because they otherwise couldn't get a ride. The staff that drive the vans and such for the NTS are kind, dependable, and supportive of those who need a little support on the road to full-employment. Cedar Rapids, like most cities west of the Mississippi, has an insufficient public transportation system, but NTS fills in the gaps.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
the joy of the passengers, the punctuality of the passengers, and the success rate in criminals who are transitioning back into society. After the devastating flood in June of last year, there are so many people in need of a supportive organization like NTS.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
that they fill a basic need here in Cedar Rapids for the underprivileged. Without a car you cannot succeed in this town, but with a ride you can keep that job that will buy you a car or pay the fines that help you reinstate your license.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
amazing. Kind, energetic and helpful. Plus, they are brave enough to maneuver van around town.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
revolutionize the transportation system in the entire city

Review for Center for Biological Diversity Inc, Tucson, AZ, USA
Petitions help keep our minds involved, but the newsletters that the CBD send out keep your heart involved. I enjoy the stories, photos, and feel as though the stories about legal battles, research and successes all over our country remind us of our inter-dependence. Keep up the good work, and I hope that the greatest nonprofits wins here.

Paint a map for the interconnectedness of all of our living creatures, and show where they expand across the non-living places on the planet. With animated photos, honest storytelling and succinct explanations of what needs to be done now, they could bring the public support to the laws that need to lead our resource revolution.
