Charlene and I connected when she was looking to start a Friends of group for Russell County. We had an ongoing group and we were happy to work with Charlene. She is always very hardworking, dedicated and so compassionate for the animals of Russell County. She is a one woman dynamo! From running up and down the state to pick up pet food and supplies, to working to saving and transporting animals. She is an excellent communicator and collaborator and so many animals in Russell County have her to thank for their loving home.
