Review for Operation Paws for Homes, N.Chesterfield, VA, USA
I filled out an adoption form giving phone numbers for our 3 references and the vet phone number as requested. I received an email requesting email addresses for our contacts because "contacts tended to respond better to email requests". I responded that our contacts would respond better to a phone call and if they left a message the call would be returned. Two days later I received the same email requested worded exactly the same obviously a form type response. I reached out to our contacts, they have not received a call from OPH. It has been over two weeks and there has been no contact. It appears that unless you provide email addresses your application gets discarded. I am extremely disappointed.
We are so sorry that you were disappointed. As an all volunteer organization, we request email addresses so people can respond at their convenience, but are willing to work with you if your references don't have an email address. I did check your file and the person checking your references did call the people you listed, but the calls were not returned.
