I was introduced to The Child Center approximately 3 years ago when I visited for a breakfast tour. On that day, I walked out a different person than the person who entered that space for the first time. Not only was the team professional and kind, each one exuded a love for children as well as other members of their team. Over the next year, I made it a mission to help promote the Center and the amazing work they do. In April of 2019, I became a board member. Being on the board provides great insight to the presence of child sexual and physical abuse in the counties the Center serves. Many children have positive life altering experiences as a result of the services The Child Center provides.
